My Iwe is a website designed to host child-friendly content using various formats that include e-Books, Audio, illustration, and other engaging mediums. We help creators expose their work to a relevant audience.
Getting your content published in the traditional sense is very difficult. My Iwe is designed to simplify the route to your target audience by making it easy to upload and promote your work to the child masses and build a fanbase.
If you are an Author (amateur or professional), illustrator, teacher, role model, cartoonist, child, or an individual/organisation who creates content for children, the process is simple. Set up an account, upload your content, and let people enjoy your work.
Content Policy – Content Providers
My Iwe is a platform of visitors made up of children and parents to consume appropriate content. My Iwe collaborates with all types of Authors, Illustrators, and Content Creatives.
The content aims to educate, inspire, teach and motivate children through the medium of reading and engaging content. There is an expectation from us to create an environment where children can explore in a safe environment. Every visitor should expect the highest level of privacy and a brand-safe environment.
My Iwe seeks to provide a book for every child where they feel represented. This means that equality, diverse and inclusive content will always be welcomed and encouraged. A core strategy is to utilise the EDI context for children to empathise with different cultures, backgrounds, races, beliefs, and abilities.
We are invested in ensuring that the content hosted fits our ethos and non-toxic themes. We aim to moderate all pieces of content hosted on the website to ensure our rules are abided by.
Below you will find a set of rules that applies to all individuals and groups looking to post content on My Iwe.
We ask that you abide by not just the letter of these rules but the spirit as well.
Rule 1
My Iwe is an environment that focuses on children’s development through the medium of reading and other interactive content. It is strictly against the rules to host any content that promotes harassment, bullying, the threat of violence, toxic or other inappropriate material for children.
Rule 2
Please ensure that the content you supply is original and created by you to comply with copyright law, or you have explicit permission from the source to post the content.
Rule 3
Our platform is dedicated to keeping our visitors safe. Please do not post any content that identifies real individuals without their consent. Show respect for all communities.
Rule 4
Please ensure you provide accurate labelling of your content, especially if discussing sensitive subjects.
Rule 5
Not only should the content be appropriate for children, but it also needs to avoid INSERT MORE INFO HERE.
Rule 6
When providing content, please ensure it is clear and consistent:
e-Books – Provide a Cover Page, Title, and text (text format must be consistent throughout)

Illustrations
Audio
Rule 7
Remember the ethos of the website and the content on it is to influence children positively. Please try and supply content that fits our ethos. My Iwe will maintain complete control of what content will feature online.
Rule 8
The content (hosted on My Iwe) ownership will remain with the Author/Content creator. This means the content can be taken down at the request of the provider at any time; please note we My Iwe will require three working days to process your command.
Rule 9
My Iwe is also dedicated is supporting creators, and therefore there is a strong possibility we will promote your content via external channels such as social media. By supplying your content to our platform, you automatically agree to the promotion of your content to My Iwe external channels unless we are advised otherwise.
